The website is designed to be used by professional bodies only (i.e. lawyers, brokers, and licensed conveyancers) and is not intended for general public use. Any cover provided is on the basis that you act as “agent” for the proposed insured in accordance with the Consumer Insurance (Disclosure and Representations) Act 2012 (“the Act”), effective from the 6 April 2013, and that (where applicable) the insured has complied and will continue to comply with its duty as a “consumer” under the Act to take reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation to us.

If there is a disagreement between us which we cannot resolve to your satisfaction, you can refer any relevant complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) who, once contacted, will liaise with us on your behalf. FOS will then inform you directly of its decision. Referral to FOS will not prejudice your right to take subsequent legal proceedings.
